MOONSHINE Schedules Rare Live Appearance

August 20, 2008

One of Korea's pioneering metal bands MOONSHINE has scheduled a rare live appearance on August 23 at Club SSAM in Seoul.

MOONSHINE's third album, "Eternal", was released in June via Dope Entertainment Korea. The CD artwork was created by Niklas Sundin (Cabin Fever Media),who has previously worked with such bands as IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY and SENTENCED.

According to a press release, "Eternal" sees MOONSHINE finding its own "unique voice." The band's black/death metal past "has taken the backseat to give way to the best weapon in their arsenal, melody, and to their new found relationship with gothic. The end result of it all are ten tracks (14 if you include the four Korea bonus tracks) of unique infectious blending of dark/gothic/melodic metal with a little hint of their symphonic black metal past. They even added a female voice to some of the tracks to give the album more dimensions. One listen and the melodies will be stuck in your head forever and the songwriting will prove that they are already seasoned veterans within and outside their league."
